Capturing Jessica and Ian’s wedding at The Casino San Clemente was so much fun and we are stoked that the Figlewicz Photography team was there to see all the details come to life. There is not better way to say it other than these two are a blast and they love each other and God is very real ways. Their wedding had beautiful purple accents and their choice of the Casino San Clemente matched their wedding style perfectly. These two are big foodies and love to spend quality time together. They love to hike and adventure and both grew up traveling with their families. They love exploring new places and we know that will continue and grow as they build their lives together.

“Ian and I met at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo over two years ago. Each of us have different sides of the story, but after seeing each other around the architecture building, we finally met. I was rushing up the stairwell to meet a project partner for a meeting, and noticed someone was coming up the stairs behind me, so I held the door for him. We had great first conversation until my project partner showed up and interrupted it. Ian thought I was dating the guy-oh dear. Ian was very intentional in pursuing me before and after we met, with a series of romantic, thoughtful, creative dates. I remember being in one of my evening classes and getting a text from him saying he was making papadelle pesto pasta, and would I want some? He could bring it to campus around 8pm? I swooned inside and thought, man, I could marry this guy. He brought silverware, hot pasta, the works, and we ate a late dinner on top of the architecture building overlooking campus. We were both smitten with each other, and it wasn’t until we’d learned the “scoop” about each other through mutual friends, whom one was my roommate that went to Ian’s church, that we realized how realistic pursuing each other was. Our first date was in February of 2015, and I graduated in June 2015. So a majority of our relationship has been long distance, but we have both grown and learned so much, and commitment and communication have helped us succeed.”
